Honestly I'm kinda tired of this mental control trope... it became an even lamer cliché than amnesia.
And lets be real. In this one in particular... they are supposed to be the strongest men around... they defeated the demon lord... and one of them is even a freaking dragon! And author really wants us to believe they are that easily and completely brainwashed? That's a hard one to swallow.
