I really enjoyed this one. Yes, there was a problem with the artwork towards the end, small head on big body, but I don’t care. The story was awesome and I enjoyed every bit of it. The villains were freaking great and the progression was IMO was perfectly paced. What a great read.

Honestly I kinda was hoping a little bit more on Ella's back story back on earth before she transgressed. But I feel like they would've tried to gain sympathy from the readers so I guess it's better that way

I always wish they’d do that on all these stories. We get info on the mc, but never the villain. All we usually know about them is their thoughts regarding their current life in the story/game they were reading/playing before they arrived there.

Honestly I'd like to headcannon that Ella's life was most likely in a abusive home and was also bullied most of her life by her peers, and when she read the novel and transgressed the first time, she becomes obsessed and thinks this is how love should be as it was probably the only time someone truly loved her. But then she isn't exactly emotionally developed so when kahir payed more attention to their kids itmworobably felt like the fall out of her previous parents love/marriage? That's why on the second transgression she becomes sociopathic ish idk

That’s similar to what I was thinking. I agree, a lot of authors probably don’t go into that because everyone will think it’s a “forgiving, justification, try to understand” arc for the villain. I’ve seen people, including myself, get pretty pissed off at this. BUT…..if they’d do it from the beginning that wouldn’t happen. All we saw was Ella’s original life within the story. If they’d shown her background from the very beginning, even in bits and pieces, we’d better understand her actions.

After showing readers a horrific villain and then towards the end, try to make us feel sympathetic, we all feel played…..too little, too late. They need to do it from the start.
