Why is he loosing years of life?
Read Impel Down arc, when Luffy got poisoned Ivankov used his/her hormone healing to save Luffy. But it it takes 10 years of Luffy's life.
Big mom has the powers to take luffy's life span. He already lost 15 Years from the impel down arc.
And also luffy is shortening his life whenever he uses his gear 2nd, 3rd and 4th... Read the Enes lobby arc.
Maybe his original lifespan was like 150 or so? (Here's hoping) ╥﹏╥

The awakening, it doesn't matter if luffy's ability gets weirder and weirder just please let Luffy awaken his devil fruit, even though i know that the straw hats will survive this arc, I dont want to see him loosing another few years of his life. I don't want luffy dying a year after he became the pirate king. Thats just too sad.
