Not at all! I would say your shipping instincts are strong! LOL...indeed, it was strange how that one scene specifically, out of nowhere, focused on Miyashita and Fuji, it's like the Mangaka is saying, "wink wink" these two are special with a special bond, which turned out to be somewhat true as Fuji has his own story, which central to the plot is Fuji's and Miyashita's friendship. So I would say you are very perceptive! I happened to notice it as well ;)
