Seriously I'm gonna unalive anyone interrupting Minato and Shizuma love story, that director can go to hell for all I care. He's definitely has hidden intention and he's not just "jealous" of Shizuma, that's bullshit. He's clearly intrigues by him, interested even, and probably in the long run might attempt to disrupt them (wait no not probably, he's definitely going to do that!) because he's clearly has a biased view about Shizuma's relationship.

Look, I'm a doc myself and I totally understand that relationship can be hard to manage since we are extremely busy. It's no joke, sometimes it's hard to even do basic biological function like drinking water and going to the toilet when things get hectic. I applaud Shizuma for standing up to his relationship against that director and to learn from his past mistake. I also love that he acknowledged Minato's support for him and put that director in his place for calling Minato insecure and to end their relationship. Honestly if you want to keep relationship works while doing this job, you GOTTA make some efforts! Otherwise as a doc/vet, you will always be too busy and too tired for your loved ones.

Kudos to Minato as well for trying to communicate his feelings to Shizuma. I love him for that. Sometimes we have to be super direct with our lover because they are dense as a brick and can't even recognize people flirting and making advance towards them. Let's simplify things for them by telling it directly, don't play mind games or riddles.

Now before you call it "controlling" or "immature" and whatnot, hey people have different standard and boundary for their relationship. If you think being late to a date just to accompany a co-worker eating dessert in a cafe is a ok, then you do you. Me and minato dont f*ck with that. Each couple are allowed to set their own rules and you don't get to tell us how to feel.
