it's not eye contact but scent of their sweat where normal lvls wouldn't affect the opposite gender except for the fated pair but guideverse goes next level in that and almost everything starts from contract/business here because they can't help it as their body won't listen. At least there is restriction or solution to the problem in omegaverse. Imagine if there were no monsters and espers didn't go mad unless they unleash same amount of power required to defeat a monster what would happen to all guides? instead of treating them with respect they would've been human trafficked and used as a personal medicine bottle instead of being treated as humans.

yea but omegas are trafficked, assaulted, and used too. Also the whole pheromone thing. All the stuff guideverse goes through (besides monster fighting) is like 10x worse in omegaverse plus the addition of mpreg. Also, if a n omega is marker they’re forced to seek their partner when the alpha can always have multiple partners. They will DIE without their partner. I’d say they’re pretty equal…

ah I thing we've read different things in every universe someone gets trafficked I just wanted to say even if they were trafficked how likely in both worlds would one be treated closer to humans. the omegaverse I read said once a partner has been marked they don't get excited by other people's pheromones so it's just like how normal humans cheat that's just part of the evils of mankind not related to trope. Exactly what I meant by medicine bottle. They're only equal if the guide could stop guiding voluntarily but here they just said if they touch guiding(from a trained guide) happens involuntarily so it's nowhere near equal also you can see this ml didn't care abt her feelings at all in marriage/contract whatever they had and almost all guideverse I've read are like that they hardly worked with consent and proper respect whereas in omegaverse there were both good and bad people and both relations were very similar to normal humans.
Esper & guide trope is more fucked than omegaverse
