Skylar has his own F”d up backstory and essentially realizes so does Cirrus. So. It makes no sense to hate on him when he could have easily turned out the same way, had he not had the direction of Chan-il. So Skylar pretty much acted as a Chan-il for cirrus to change his ways but now they mutually like each other
To put an extremely long story short, Skylar has been aware of Cirrus' feelings toward him for a while. Skylar is a very good and understanding person, so when Cirrus genuinely apologized for everything, Skylar accepted it.
When Cirrus finally confessed, Skylar at some point had also started like Cirrus, so he gave him a chance!
