Right? I'm absolutely appalled every time when I see someone hating on a woman in an action series for even being there, especially if they're in any way interested in the MC (whether it be romantic or not), just because they're women.
Actually the reason why women are hated in Action male centered series is because it usually focuses on an Harem route. All the males are bad guys and all the females are good guys and just trophies for the male lead to collect. They are always blushing and needing to be saved, constantly fighting with each other over male lead.
When Harem happens, the male lead also becomes a tool man despite his strength. He lets the women in his harem bully him around.
That is annoying. But when you have woman like Jessica or the Black Dragon Leader from SSS Suicide Hunter or MC's gf from the one where he gets transfered to the future, they are normally portrayed and not annoying.

i know that but there are still so many misogynistic comments i see everywhere in these type of stories. what i dont like is when a woman appears on one panel and everyone starts saying sht and hate her for simply appearing and existing.
cnovels have it the worst when it comes to harem and female charas that are there to look good. i hate most of it. almost every cultivation novel i come across is harem. i remember reading a novel that went "mc goes to a place and finds a beautiful woman and saves her." this shit happens to every city the mc visits. mf brings back a new lover/wife whenever he goes home and his wives all just accept it no questions asks. wtf.

i really like jessica so far. i wouldnt mind if she's the FL by the end. So far all her interest towards hoyeol is because of his magic. she admires him because of his talent for magic. her "blushing" isnt because of love. if readers actually paid close attention and not be misogynistic towards every woman who appears in these type of stories. if that berserker guy and his older brother were women the hate comments would come out fortunately for them they're men.
they're not similar in any way but jessica reminds me of edora from second life ranker. she appears early on and grows stronger on her own. she admires the MC. she hasnt become a burden or anything. by the end of the novel she gets married to the mc.
