and to add, I believe IchiKaren sisters weren't the only names that had a switcheroo
So the sisters switch their name and the brothers too. That's why their identities got mixed up.
Noah's reason for giving Cecil's name is heartbreaking. He was a kid, and his whole life he was treated like something that shouldn't exist. Clearly no one would want to be friends with "Noah", hence him claiming to be "Cecil", who was loved.
Isn't Karen the same though.

So the “cecil” that ichika knows is actually the black haired prince (ML) all along!! It all clicks to ML in chp 15 when MC does something that reminds him of the “ichika” he talked to in the mirror when he was young. He instinctively calls out “Ichika..?” and MC automatically answers “Yes, what is it?” and ML gasps w/ tears
