On what basis. I see a manipulative, insane murderer who doesn't care for the well being of his victim but is curious to toy with his victim and drain bum mentally physically and psychologically for fun. He already got hard at the thought of killing bum when he escapes. So pretty much nothing is going to redeem him as a cliche romantic partner "reformed by love".
Sure they can have a twisted relationship full of mental disorders. But don't expect role model lovey dovey romance

Fact check real life mindset that considers that justified. If it's shipping for a twisted mental disorder filled relationship fine, not the 'he's hot so he definitely getting away cos he's just in love' logic. If so, that just says so much of how yaoi works have trained us.
