Exactly my thoughts!
i agree with most of what you’re saying, but i also think you’re reading into it too much. this story is rather simple and it doesn’t really shy away from this fact. it’s not trying to be profound or super realistic, so without these higher expectations i was able to enjoy it for what it is.
when I realise the age/maturity of someone based off of the story they wrote....this is a story that had the intention to be cute, healthy and green flag and all. But it was written by someone young, without much proper experience and too much (bad) exposure to the Yaoi world. He is supposed to be a green flag, but he has sex with him two times, without ever talking or confirming feelings AND when the use is completely out of his wits and cannot consent to anything because he is drunk as fuck. So much so he is disoriented and has fragmented memory about fucking with someone. Then this whole chase continues. Which is kinda almost authentic. Because there are insecure and shy people and introverts who run away and all and need time to sort out their shit before they confront a situation. Then the super not properly fleshed out ex situation. A lot of things about this are just very superficial, not deep. The only character in this story that actually feels kinda authentic and like someone that slowly is becoming someone you can connect with is actually Yumin. I hope the author, now that they are a bit older and experienced finishing a story, will maybe write about Yumin and get over this clumsy immature stuff and their doubts and all and write a real story...they got potential...
