Can you explain exactly how it relates to the first story cause even after re reading it I don’t understand
So the beginning happens later in the future after the diamonds couple (theyre the same people)
To clear up the plot. The very first story has a prelude which is the newest chapters with the diamonds. It seems like this is an anthology, and if you go back and reread you'll see how the stories link up.
As for the women offering sex in order to be protected, honestly it seems pretty f*cking feasible, especially considering how quickly the world falls to chaos when martial law is enacted. It has nothing to do with "humans are inharently violent" but more to do with those who's only reason to not be abusive is because it is illegal will let loose; ontop of those who don't care and hide their abuse and then those who don't even to bother to hide it.
TLDR; The stories do wrap up, so.Yes.
