Frrr, that part always makes me feel so frustrated, but I can also understand why the mc acts that way because he can't promise a whole lifetime with the ml since he could potentially die (but i bet he won't die anyways lol).
But I'm guessing the mc is pretty sure he's going to die, so he becomes selfless when it comes to the ml. I can tell he doesn't want to be selfish and live this life carelessly in love, and later when he dies, leave the ml all alone to mourn over his death and not find a new lover. Since the mc's goal is to make the ml happy, he doesn't want to be the reason the ml is sad for a lifetime like the original story
BUT I STILL HATE HOW THE MC LEADS THE ML ON DESPITE KNOWING HE DOESN'T WANT TO PURSUE THE RELATION SINCE IT COULD POTENTIAL HURT THE ML MORE WHEN HE DIES BUT HES ALREADY HURTING THE MC MORE AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE OF HIS INDECISIVENESS
THAT PART GETS ME EVERYTIME AND ITS GONNA HURT MORE ONCE THE ML FINDS OUT ABOUT HIS TIME LIMIT

My thinking is, there is plenty chances that he will disappear or die whether he completed or failed yhe mission, so he didn't want yeowon to feel sad over losing him after he disappear/die after the mission?? Like he didn't want to make yeowon feel what it feels like to lose someone he loves again? He is still being nice to yeowon too, its just he refuses to go further to make yeowon feel even greater loss.
I understand his anxiety. But that is a whole ass 11 months or something and he came so far in no time at all. How about you have some hope? And he doesn't observe the situation at all as well. The way Yenwoo's favourability rises is always when he shares special moments with Myungha. All he needs to do is love Yeonwoo and give him what he wants and needs. Make him happy. Like why is he being so unreasonable?
