Maybe i need to re read this story cause all the horrible things he did are so vauge in my memory now.
he raped & basically abused him a multitude of times in absolutely terrible ways, said awful and disgusting things to him causing MC to spiral into an even worse mental state, forcibly brought him to a brothel or whatever tf they’re called in this book and basically said “oh u think i’m bad? fine, spend your life here to pay the debt”, and more :/
tbh idk why my feelings think he can possibly be redeemed bcuz goddamn T-T
I didn't forget the actions but like I forget how mucn of an emotional impact they had as a result him trying to redeem himself is easier for me to accept because all those events have diminished in my memory. So I feel like to have a proper none recency bias on the guy I would need to re read.
logically, ML can’t be redeemed in the slightest for literally everything he did. he was horrible, doesn’t matter if it’s because he “cared” abt MC. but my emotional side…says maybe he can be redeemed, and this chapter just fuels that feeling.
