For me, I really like that even the characters addressed and accepted it. Instead of the ML insisting for Dohu to grow it back, he laughed and accepted his reasons immediately (which were him liking them short, them not getting in the way + easier to maintain). It wasn't what I was expecting and it made me happy. Especially when Dohu screams autistic to me, so just... idk, people not telling him what to do and accepting him just as he is is really nice to see.
Why is everyone hoping for his bangs to grow back? Like didn't the author explain in the previous season that those choppy bangs are his charms , what makes him stand out from the many many similar bottom characters who look and act the exact same way. I mean no doubt he would look better with his previous hair style but I like this hair style better because of how perfectly it suits his personality. For the author to change his hair style just because the readers want eye candy would be so out of character.
