I know. "This girl got more to say?" But I wanna talk about Yuka. I noticed that a lot of people don't like him and I'm not saying you guys should however Yuka is like what 16. A lot of kids really want to go through that change in high school where they want to become popular and stuff. I didn't go through that exactly but in middle school I was absolute trash. We grow and we show remorse for our actions. Even before he became an Omega Yuka seemed to show reflection on his narrow minded opinion of omegas. Later on he appears to have really regretted the war he treated Kaoru. I'm not saying it was okay for to ignore Kaoru but I can appreciate the development.
I agree, im not a fan but i dont hate him either. A lot of people go through those kind of changes and i understand him, atleast we saw the realization that he hurt kaoru. Some comments here are very judgemental and i dont think its right to wish harm for other peope.
So I'm guessing that Kaoru is an alpha. Seems pretty obvious but maybe the author will surprise me. I've read a lot of omegaverse yaoi and the heat and pheromones are pretty heavy and controlling. I've read some where the alpha would kill himself after raping the omega and so on. Kaoru has been in love with the MC for years and he's already affected by the heat, however he exerts a lot of determination to respect the MC. In the moment when the friend assaulted the MC I thought Kaoru would run away with, but he makes the MC leave alone. I know it's a stupid thing to be touched about but I am. The control, the patience, the endurance, everything about Kaoru got me giving up stars. Honestly if I was Kaoru I'd be like if you don't wanna be friend just say something honey and I'll forget about you quicker than goldfish.
