While I’m tired of the rape trope being overused, it does make me wonder what people expected for this story? Like?? Did they think they were going to have soft candlelit sex with flower petals and velvet blankets or??? Like this is clearly not the story for that lol. I have a problem with the rape trope (in general) especially when it seems completely unmatched with the rest of the story or is out of character but the dude has been like this since the start so idk what they were thinking was going to happen

Agreed, I was so surprised of the comments.... This was their dynamic from the start. Seme is pushy, cruel, does not understand even his own emotions not to mention other's, so why are we surprised he was aggressive? Given his personality it was 'nice' of him not to jump on uke at the hospital. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I also agree on the rape-trope being too much in BLs in general, and I do not like it either. But here I think it was expected that there won't be lovey-dovey vanilla sex.

I could not have said it better honestly. Compared to a lot of other bls where the non-consensual actions are at a level that is HIGHLY concerning. This is pretty tame in comparison. But yes its been shown from the get go that Kwon was pushy and doesnt like waiting as well as obsessed with Hamin. It really doesnt surprise me that he does this as theyre first time. While im not happy with it its how the character is and all we can do is watch for any character development. ALSO if i can just sneak this in here real quick. We see the same thing with other bls where the couple is all lovey dovey and infatuated with one another. It can be in a jealous scene or frustration whatever, but they 'vent' theyre feelings through sex even when theyre Significant Other says no and all these other things. But most people dont say anything, like ithers are right now with Kwon and Hamin. In fact we fangirl and say all these things like 'hes so hot' or 'get you a man whose obsessed with you like him.' Its the same thing but were seeing it through different filters. Just to give yall perspective

I usually drop the stories that contains forceful sex scenes which don’t match the plot and the artists have squeezed them there for the hell of it! But as you said story like this one is different, 3 chapters in and we already what we have signed for so keep mentioning the word “rape” repeatedly in the comments really pisses me off , like dude we got it! That’s enough! I swear we all can understand the difference between a consented romantic sex and a forced one ,and hell no we are not condoning the act so just stop repeating that word or shaming other readers who are still interested in the story not because they’re into rape but they’ve accepted the fact that the characters are flawed and in what world the story is happening and can actually analyze the situation and characters!

So true!! Ah sometimes it's so frustrating that english is not my first language... thank you for this comment. You're right about having filters. Like being an "alpha" for example is totally justifying rapey behavior, but being psycho from the beginning and doing rape is a surprising act... if it has place, then yes, it is what it is. It's not making it cool or acceptable, but under this manhwa, this compalining is just too much.
I like characters like Sehyuk. But even if I wouldn't, it was obvious from the start how he is. I really don't understand, what other people are reading sometimes... Sehyuk is changing, but for him being all nice and considerate is just out of character to be honest.
