The point of the chapter was to prove the opposite lol. When Ian said he really was a good guy, Jo thought to himself that his intentions weren’t pure because he only gave Ian that advice to keep him and TJ apart.

That doesn’t prove he isn’t good for me, especially compared to the other guys lol

I think you’re missing the point… no one is saying he’s bad and no one is comparing him to TJ. I was just clearing that up because you said “he’s too good” when what was written in the chapter was meant to give a completely different aspect of his character. So I only said what I said because I’ve seen people say they didn’t get his inner-monologue. That’s all.

While I get that the chapter tries to show a different side of him, I still consider him good, being selfish in that way as he himself said just doesn’t make him less good of a person imo, especially when he himself realises where this is coming from, thus my saying “he’s too good”
