Seyhuk was raped as an orphan and is a gangster for a living. How is he supposed to know gentleness if he has never encountered it? Ppl be screeching about the scenes but honestly, there has been worse. I like the side stories.
The whole of that Jaekyung and Dan one is way more toxic
while it may be in-character, the author could’ve done without adding rape/dubcon scenes. there’s an infinite amount of other directions the story could’ve went. it could’ve ended in consensual, vulnerable moments of character growth and recovery from trauma but it’s just disgusting and shallow
The thing is it's not like it's going to be instant. With his trauma, it's going to be a long road before there'd be true character growth, and with Sehyuks character he'd want to make Haemin his as soon as possible as something to tie him to him closer. Any character growth in such a short period, since they only just started dating, would be completely superficial right now.
i didn’t mean immediately. even if that were the case, it would’ve been preferable to a literal rape scene. as an artist, i find the idea of forcing your fucked up fetishes unnecessarily, incredibly abhorrent.
Everyone complaining about Sehyuk's actions in the side stories and I don't understand. There was nothing in his behaviour previously that showed he would be anything else but this. Sehyuk is not kind, he is not compassionate, he is not sweet. He wants Haemin, and he will have Haemin. And Haemin knows all about what Sehyuk is like and still wants to be with him.
