Yeah the guy with abandonment issues that are there since his parents died and his older brother ditch him, while he was a minor will act in a rational way.
Jihyuk doesnt believe he deserves unconditional love and always think people will leave him (that's why he used to have night stands only), he's being selfish and also growing. When he was vulnerable with alpha and confessed, he was rejected(for being a beta which is another trauma for him) he did the healthy thing and ended things, but you don't get fixed in a day, in his own (twisted) way Jihyuk is healing by trying to have a long term relationship, he's being honest with omega (he doesn't love but he will try) and letting once again someone close to his heart
Jihyuk has self destructive tendencies but I find him interesting because of that.
people aren't blaming jihyuk enough to my liking. mans is letting people walk over him like a doormat because he's lost the ability to stand up for himself. he's had so many chances to leave those two and continue living his life yet he crawled back to the alpha and now it's convenient for him to walk into the omega's arms. mans stupid as shit ☠
