Technically it says that he could sell the souls or eggs or whatever tf those stones are- for gold in which case it wouldn't stop the cycle but it wouldn't be directly his choice on what the buyer does next
However, bc he needs to "defeat" this world he is kinda in a pickle. Either option is fucked (in the sense that if you choose to send them away and farm you endager yourself, possibly others & the hero you take to battle due to your reduced mana)
