Clough is described as handsome, smart, kind, charming and well-mannered. So Rapiel must have felt lucky, because Clough rejected a lot of the other omegas that Viscount Derbyshire tried setting up with him. It’s sad. He’s a really good person… who wants the same partnership as his parents.
But the only reason he went for Rapiel is because he looks like the MC. Also that was a major slap in the face which we don’t find out until story 2 is that during story 1 when Rapiel was found after being attacked and bleeding out the ML called out the MC’s name not Rapier’s OUCH….::.
Maybe it’s different in the novels but we didn’t see enough of the interactions between Rapiel and the ML for me to see it was legitimate feelings which regardless of how Rapiel felt- ^^^ calling out someone else’s name when your pregnant mate is dying is never good

You mean the dream in s2… it’s the imprint messing his mind. It messes with your memory, dreams, also results in hallucinations. Aeroc and Rapiel died the same way, in both situations Clough was helpless. In the novel the dreams weren’t specified except their was an omega with blue eyes and blond hair. In the manhwa he dreams of visiting the cabin, he calls Aeroc by Rapiel. It’s because in this w2, he was closer to Rapiel, so he thinks the omega in his dreams was Rapiel.
It wasn’t until he recognized his feelings for Aeroc in the novel, that his dreams became clearer and scarier, he saw himself raping Aeroc and cursing him to die the same way as him (Rapiel)
But Clough’s feelings was really more that he was frustrated about his feelings for Aeroc, he wants him so badly, he dated a look alike.
Are your feelings on Rapiel from his descriptions and actions from the novel? Is he more flushed out that you are saying ^^^ what you said above or is it your Intuition?
I read some bits of the spanish translation so I’m bit I’m unsure if its accurate, Rapiel really liked him according to that, Rapiel has his own spin-off that’s connected to this arc.
He ran away after his dad made them breakup as a sign of rebellion. So as a reader think his feelings were more genuine than Clough’s.
Which is again sad, because Clough fricking just the threw the ring away when they broke up and forgot about it.
It’s hard to talk about Rapiel because even in his spin-off it was mostly in Linus Wolflake’s pov, his pov was minimal. But he was frustrated, but I get that he sees Clough as a friend who can be my partner vibe. Hope this clears my thoughts?

But the difference in how he felt when he got Aeroc a ring, the pressure was different. He keeps talking to himself like an idiot about proposing. This was the right feelings you should have felt before proposing!!!!

He develops into a more of an authority figure. He was a stricter parent than Wolflake and was more vocal. I think his youth and his sheltered life really affected how he didn’t see the blaring red flags… he couldn’t understand why his dad made him breakup with Clough. I wanted to scream, your lover beat two alphas an inch of their life because they accidentally interrupted his proposal. I know they were doing something indecent but damn… that’s scary!
They didn’t really follow the novel. The fact they gave Aeroc a pov made things interesting! I would buy the same book with OG’s pov about this second chance, like can you imagine the chaos and confusion about this whole return!
But yes! I love s2! I like w5 or s3 for different reasons (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I totally feel that the omega was working his way into that Alpha’s bed from the start. Even the stupid cookies and the “learning how to prepare fish” we all know he was never going to be the one cooking. Major eye roll in the alpha again for creating this mess - the omega knows about your family’s love for fish BEFORE YOU START DATING. The omega was playing the game- I mean all is fair in love and war - so in the end I blame the alpha for his stupidity and blindness
