If this was real life I'd tell Dan when someone shows you who they are believe them but given that this is fictional its just laughable atp because jjk has done like 2 nice things period.
I really hope the story goes in a direction where Dan finds a spine bc the idea that Dan would endure any kind of treatment in hopes of gaining his love(and that method actually working) is really toxic. Dan doesn't love himself and it shows. The only reason Dan likes him is because he's hot. What else has this man done that would make Dan love him prior to paying grammy bills?

I love Dan with my heart he my little baby squirrel and I get where your coming from... But me I am tired, my poor child is going through this and I want him to leave. This is 51 chapters now and I am still depressed. I guess why we are feeling angry at him is because he has been through much and we don't want to see it anymore it's hurting us damn fiction
Yup I get what you both mean I definitely want Dan to leave and start gaining some self-confidence and live a happier life and I'm also waiting for literally any progression in the plot I just want people to give Dan a little grace and not blame him when they should be blaming JK.
Dang why are some of ya'll blaming dan for being a victim and not leaving like bro he's in love and really can't leave because he has no other means of financial support for himself and his grandma. Like I also want Dan to stand up for himself but calling him stupid or weak is just really not true think of trying to stand up to a man twice your size with a serious anger problem it would be scary and potential dangerous and Dan knows this and is trying to keep himself safe. Also though I know this is fiction saying that someone is weak, stupid, or naive for staying in a toxic practically abusive situation like this one can be harmful to people who have lived similar situations or are still in those situations.
