this is just a theory, but since it's constantly said that the more involved the character is in the story, the more control the creator(or whatever its called) has on them, i believe that the creator is using voices in their head to direct them on what to think of a situation. for example, we've seen glimpses of "thoughts" from killian that he doesnt seem to actually think, but im also on board with a theory that blondie knows the storyline, and is finding the inconsistencies of this storyline unlike the others.

it's been a while since i read the novel but lize's body is possessed by the original author of the universe. the storyline kept repeating itself in accordance with the original story with a new soul possessing edith and trying to avoid the bad ending, but so far each edith has failed. because of how many times the universe has repeated itself, the current lize no longer remembers she's the author of the universe. she loves the attention she gets from both MLs and is the antagonist of the series (from what i remember she is a 2 faced bitch).
the main characters of the story are under the strongest control under lize, and current edith recognizes that the side characters are less affected by the control so she focuses on them. edith is also meeting certain requirements that will allow killian to break free of the control. there's a lot of shit that goes down but lize's facade eventually comes off and she starts acting like her true self and overall just being a little bitch. cliff and lize separate and cliff marries another woman who sees him for who he is beyond status :3

I think that's the OG author in their control room space, but to further interfere with the story they are also in the body of Lize, kind of like Edith going to that space to get an update but she is also in the body of Edith in her every day life!
OOH I get it now! Coz I'm wondering how could she forget that she/he's the author when they're in the control room and setting conditions. So at this point they're kinda like edith, they know that they have some control over the characters, but not aware of their original identity

I initially thought she's two-faced coz her face got dark sometimes when killian was just starting to be fond of edith. then she seems genuinely nice after, then this? she seems to be jealous of edith and hates that all of the attention is not on her. is she perhaps aware of the original storyline, coz the writer(?) mentioned that the current edith is the 13th?
