I really hope they communicate properly after this honestly

Good aftercare is what make the difference in my opinion. karlyle doesn’t really know his taste or how to express what he feels yet ( especially with sex and emotion) so although this scene can be forcefulle I think a good after care and communication time is exactly what they need to make this all healthier over all
