I honestly feel that the source of all the toxicity in this story is Jenny and In-seob's relationship. They were both lonely and depressed people who got involved with eo. In such scenarios mostly the characters either become eo's boon or bane. In this one, they are definitely the bane of eo's existence. It has f'd up In-seob's head for good.
clearly you didn't read very far if you think the ML is a good person.
ML is not a good person, he is a total psycho in fact but if you look at it from a broader perspective, he really didn't have anything to do with either MC or his friend. He didn't even know they existed for a long time but these people got their feelings entangled onto him and here we have MC going into ML's life with the intent of destroying it. ML isn't a saint but he also got dragged into MC and his dead friend's fiasco bc they can't deal with their one-sided feelings.

He’s an asshole but not a terrible person. The people he gets violent with are people that attack him first and are psychos. He teases and is emotional removed but he isn’t racist or out there killing puppies. He doesn’t attack people without reason. He’s just a bit mean but the story makes him out to be the devil himself while his actions say differently.☠ I’ve read pretty far but I’m dropping it because they’re toxic. In-seob annoys me too much lol. I usually defend the crying victim in these toxic relationship stories(because they usually are crying for a reason) but In-seob’s actions are so nonsensical and he is just constantly emotionally shaken up by everything. -coming from someone with debilitating anxiety irl
