I think Law gave him over to the terrorists. Just a guess...probably thinking it wouldn't be that big of a deal, they'd just teach him a lesson and then Jesse would become emotionally dependent on him after his parents died. Not sure about this, it's just one of my guesses. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I have similar speculations, though I also suspect Law's mom.

Yeah Law is definitely one of the reasons to why Jesse ended up so badly injured. It's still unclear if Jesse was attacked by terrorits but Law must've done something and it's obvious when we read the beginning of ch 24

I don't understand why he would purposely tell others about Jesse's condition though? Law doesn't appear to hate Jesse in this current timeline (at least not yet), and he seems to value Jesse well being, even more so than that of his parents.

I think Law wants to exert some measure of control in a world where he feels helpless.

Omg if that's the case then I would hate Law. I mean Jesse is very independent and used to control people and have been doing whatever he wanted, but that way of making him surrender to Law is lame. Law should be very patient cause I think Jesse is warming up to law a little
