With how the story is going maybe the author will make MC go back to original timeline (a few months later after little MC makes ML less depressed or sum) and when he does come back ML's fate changed and h didn't actually die frm car crash or sum yknow he's actually alive and well
I'd rather they do that than making MC grow up again while trying to have a relationship (as a minor) with a dude 10 years older than him
