someone recommended this to me when i was finding a series that's like Your Throne but was dissapointed that the villains aren't that challenging and are too compliant. even the emperor is literally all "hmm yes i know what you're doing but im just going to let you do whatever you want anw and give you favors bc why not".
that aside, if you like the usual op character, revenge, and time travel then this is for you.
