I get your feel. It's the same with me whenever I read stories with an OP MC but the FL is just your standard damsel who either a) needs saving b) leeches from MC c) is being pushed as MC's wifey.

Yes, these stories usually give only those roles to the fl so everyone ends up hating them. Especially when they make their personalities 1. Meek & of lower power/value 2. Tsunderes that use too much violence 3. An fl that thinks she’s better than mc like I just wish the Fl was properly developed then I’d have no issue
Is it just me but I don’t really like the Fl because it feels like she’s not on the same level as him. If she at least provided him something like maybe she made him laugh a lot or something like it seems like she has no value. I don’t mean it in a sexiest way either but the mc is just so well rounded that it seems unnecessary for her to even be the Fl.
