    a talent in japan is kinda like an all over the place person in the industry. you have actors on variety shows (like when kyouko is bo the chicken) and they aren't strictly limited to just acting either.

    Most ppl start out as talents but idk the detailed parts...

    Yeah, talents are more used as extras, mobs in movies, mascots (the chicken she dressed as) or show stuff. They are more for the background work.

    they can also be people with no acting experience that are complete newbies who are still in training and are doing odd jobs before doing anything big. They don't really appear in dramas because producers feel they will most likely fail. This drama in the manga is going to big thing that's why the strict creepy eyebrows dude only wants experienced actors.

    She's been in a couple big-name dramas though, right? She's been in some critically-acclaimed series and has been well received in all her roles so far. She has some respectable people in the profession behind her, too. I think he should overlook it!
