It doesn’t make sense for him to say “I had a crush on him” and then follow up by saying “ I (used to think) about how great it would be if he were my dad.” They’re two very different statements (and I would say very inappropriate in the context of what he’s talking about.) However, him saying “he made me do it” isn’t a mistranslation!
Yeah, I checked the raws ,”he made me do it” was UNFORTUNATELY correct but as you and other mentioned “I had a crush…” was not correct and very inappropriate,he says “… 좋아했었다” which it could literally be translated as “I liked …” which he means as a father figure!
the "i had a crush on my teacher" IS mistranslation, in the kr version he said "i really liked my teacher" but the part where he says "he made me do that" is not, it's exactly what he said in the kr version as well
