tbh i would read this if is a generic yaoi. it would look more exciting. what's the point labeling it omegavers if they dont gonna follow the genre. gie's love

it is “following” that genre, theyre both alphas. their secondary genders DO matter to the plot and their relationship. stop looking for heteronormativity in gay relationships pls!

this. comments like these are just trying to seek heteronormativity in every crack and crevice of everything. always expecting one of the characters in a same sex couple to take on nurturing and submissive roles is so exhausting.

say what you want but this alpha x alpha and omega x omega doesn't make their story unique. the story still revolves around Sexual assaults and rape just like alpha x omega. this side of omegavers is just bulls... gie's love

what the fuck are you going on about here.. there are plenty great omegaverse stories that do not center around sexual assault which shouldn’t have been normalized in the first place. omegaverse is a fictional universe with made up dynamics, hierarchies, and societal standards. how different authors choose to twist and play with the rules is what develops stories into complicated plot lines. alpha x alpha narratives like these reflect real life societal standards that look down on relationships that don’t follow biological purposes. saying that one thing should be a certain way just because it “makes more sense” it such a one dimensional way of thinking and fails to explore what going against these standards could offer.
