I’m so used to women dying randomly in yaoi lol I can’t even pretend to be shocked or feel sad for them

It’s kinda disturbing how all the women die after male leads birth or after some sort of romance with male leads like those 2 are the only use for female characters in yaoi, weird to see when most bl is written by women themselves
I genuinely hate and sick of women dying for male lead’s sob story

Well women do suffer a lot unfortunately in real life too and die early (talking from experience) even in non yaoi its used as plot device but nothing to be triggered that much lmao

lol I’m not triggered instead I’m used to them dying right and left dying just came from muse webtoon, a female character who was male lead’s ( director) past lover just died that’s why I’m so fed up

The dad dies too, just not at the same time as the mom? Would you have been happier if they both died at the same time or something? Joon’s life is supposed to be a tragedy and the brothers’ trauma is a huge part of their character.

Like this story wouldn’t work if the mom was alive and happy, or even if the dad died at the same time. I understand being angry at the dead mom trope, but this is the wrong story for that. The mom didn’t die just because sad. Her parting actively affected the story’s development and the character’s world view/personalities. I’m just imagining this same comment being directed at full metal and it makes me think the commenter is very young and hasn’t fully grasped that just because something is a trope doesn’t make it bad. The execution is what matters.

Yup lol as someone whose mother also passed away its relatable for me. Having no one to rely on and emotionally shut while taking all the responsibilities and such I don't think this trope was used here in a wrong way tbh.

The commenter was just frustrated at other manheas and vented on the wrong one lmao

I just found it weird how author connected this family’s loss of mom( and later dad) dying with big bro ( spoiler ) allegedly trying to kiss younger bro on lips, later kissed him on forehead, like author just showed us the * possible reason why big bro is obsessed with him almost looks like having feelings for lil bro after mom dying
I would be happier if both parents died idk how that’s what u took from my comments
Abt the execution, was my opinion, I really looks bad on authors side to show us big bro almost kissing the younger on lips with mothers died scene in between that’s what I meant

I mean most royalty romance have that troupe too, where the female lead or male lead mother died
