Depends on what you consider a throuple. Others consider any mutual relationship more than two people is poly. The two seme’s don’t like each other romantically and only like the mc/Uke. But they both mutually know and agree to the relationship with the mc, and they’re all friends. They just argue every now and then like normal friends

Yeah, your definition is more accurate of what it is, it’s probably cause people are used to seeing “poly” shown differently in fiction. It’s actually pretty rare to have a story where all three like each other. Have you seen “there’s no way this is fate,” and “love me to death?”
There’s no way this is fate is BL, though the two tops aren’t as in love with each other as they are towards the mc, they like each other and have shown it as well have slept together before getting with the mc.
Love me to death has two guys and one girl, and I thought it was a love triangle but it turned out to be poly where all of them like each other (the guys like each other as well)
