People are allowed to share their feelings about the media they consume. You shouldnt be taking comments on fictional stories so personally. Some people just want to yap. So dont read the comments if they bother you so much.
well I cant debate on people who normalize toxicity in media.. no matter what I say, they always think they can say hurtfull things about anything as long as it is in media and think it wont affecting others.. thats right, it is their right. people have the power to do so. they just dont know the impact of it. thats why I call it toxic..
The media isnt real. You cannot say “hurtful things” about something that cant have its feelings hurt. As long as the opinions are about the comic itself and not badmouthing real people reading/liking it - that isn’t toxic. Having opinions on something and voicing them is perfectly normal — we are a communal species and talking about our thoughts and feelings is normal. Attaching yourself to the media you consume to the point you take emotional damage from other people’s opinions on it in fact is far more toxic. Having a healthy separation of media is important. On the other hand, policing other’s language because some people haven't developed that skill is pretty immature and borderline rude.
