Dude he hid things from her? He literally left Dietrich to die???? He was the one pulling the strings all the time? Just bcz he did it out of love doesn't make it better.
i feel like we read two different stories. he grieved dietrich despite taking advantage of him being gone. i'm not sure what he hid from her. but she abandoned him and hid his son, allowing him to believe she had betrayed their love by having an affair. she is the only thing in the world that matters to him bc she was his guardian and the person who saved his life. meanwhile she sent him off to war when he was just a child in order to get revenge and then upon his return she forms a romantic relationship with him and then again abandons him in order to retrieve her father's body (this one thing i find understandable) but what's the justification for lying to him about his own kid. i know he's obsessive and has mental health issues, but at no point has he betrayed her.
It's funny how you're trying to defend a GROWN MAN who knew what he was doing. You're tryna acknowledge what HE did wrong. Blaming only one of them as if she's the only one at fault. And abandoned him??? Are you sure about that? He knew he could lose her if he ever told. And he did. He literally took away her chance of peace by taking her revenge behind her back. He took advantage of her fondness towards him. You're right. We are reading two different stories. Because I'm reading it from both of their perspectives. And you're from only the ML's perspective. For Rein would only be in the wrong if she hurts her own child bcz of the ML. But never for leaving the ML bcz of what he did.
i don't know how old you are but if those two were in a real adult realtionship neither would be behavingt like this in the first place so i don't think you have an argument about her being a grown woman. and what did he not tell? he thought dietrich was dead. you seem to have forgotten there is an arguably inappropriate age gap between them. she was his guardian and not only did she sleep with the child she took in, she then abandoned him despite knowing he would believe she had an affair. she is all he had since he was a child and she treats him like he hasn't made repeated sacrifices for her. she used his love and then abandoned him. that's not how relationship work. if someone were to commit a betrayal like she did especially keeping him away from his son in real life, you would think this behavior is justified? and now he's starving himself and in poor health bc opf hier and she could care less. i just have no clue at what point he was in the wrong other than being unable to control his obsessiveness. he has the emotional intelligence of a toddler bc he spent his entire youth fighting a war she begged him to fight.. like idk why none of that matters to her. it's wrong on every level. he was her responsiblity the moment she decided to take him and raise him. but instead she sacrificed him twice and hid his child from him. how exactly does she become a victim in that situation?
