mc's brother seemed sus from the Very beginning. like hes awfully quiet and his eyes were kinda creepy and how he claimed to be his brother. although i don't think he'd be able to do much. the sect lead is probably the end game
I think the story didn't put much focus on his misery due to the main character's personality, he is over optimistic because of his overflowing yang energy, his energy works like an antidepressant drug imo
