Mature Genre Tag = Stories for mature audiences, often meaning the stories are REALISTIC and not telenovela-like.
Nooo what i mean is that it’s to superficial. And to fast. The story isn’t connected and flowing well.
It’s still in chapter 2. Let it simmer before you go on about the plot when there isn’t even any YET

Besides, people DO hook up within minutes and have a relationship starting from there. Not every relationship is developing at a slow pace. XD
Gurl, when i said superficial, I didn't mean the (second time) they had sex. (First time was rape.). I meant the story itself. I am waiting as well. But I just made a comment on how it is NOW. This was not a prognosis for the whole story. Just about the first two chapters. I hope it fleshes out more and we get to know more about them, see them connect more and get more of a story. Right now I love how they look, especially Tengu, but I cannot relate, cause we got barely any info about the characters to understand and be able to relate to them.
I love the art so much actually, I wish this would be like at least 50+ chapter long story. Then it would make sense why it is slow. But I know it is one of those short 6 chapter things, which is why I wished there was more...
I was refering to the overall story. There is plenty happening in the story tbh, him getting demoted/transferred, monologuing about stuff and meeting a stranger he goes along with.
As I mentioned elsewhere, this is a mature story. They are NOT action or drama packed, they tend to be realistic and have the pace set accordingly. So him being transferred, monologueing AND having a one-night stand sorta meeting is VERY normal paced or even fast for the fact it has only happened in 1 chapter.
Not every story with the mature tag will have lots of impressive stuff happening. It IS a tag for mature audiences and is often similar to slice of life, just with less boredom in it since it does tend to have an interesting plot.
2 chapters is barely an introduction, mind you. We only got the premise and character personalities introduced. The story you might be looking for is them getting to know each other and falling in love, likely the MC deciding what his future job will be too (maybe also some mafia shennanigans to give some upstir). So far, there is really not much to judge.
If it's superficial to you that people have a one night stand and meet after that again, then that's simply based on taste, because most people don't really mind this as it is normal that characters start interacting based on a chance encounter.
(Also, not all stories will bother making an effort for you to relate to them. You either like a person as they are or not. And there are plenty people who like Tengu's type of mafia character, they are VERY beloved in general unless they turn unhinged.)
Pretty sure this just boils down to the plot being not your thing due to the mature tag factor and realism.
is absolutely gorgeous. Top tier. I have read thousands of Webtoons, magazines, mahwha etc, so I mean t when I say that. Such amazing art. But like....everything else is a bit..???
