LMAO you're funny. It's been a while so I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think there was a rule that she can't TELL him, he has to figure it out for himself. But she could at least not act extremely suspicious? But it's kind of an interesting story - the setting is so NON-threatening, nobody has any power to separate them, it's literally just their own communication issues in the way. If I tell myself that, that these misunderstandings are the intended main obstacle, then it's not as frustrating.

personally I'm on her side. the dots between her and the bird seem VERY easy to connect, considering this is already a fantasy world, so a holy bird turning into a human would not be that far-fetched. so they're both a lil stupid, but at least she has an excuse.
