I think it’s hinted at because of the girl with the purse he had over just go sleep with her. So he’s like a player who just ‘uses’ women, kind of an old trope. And he probably wanted to myb do that with Dodam but he fell for her. And yeah I think he’s a lonely man who uses women as some sort of thing to fill that empty gap in him.
