first chapter its stated that the reason why mc is having trouble as an esper is because hes had problems successfully matching with a guide. due to this hes struggling to complete his missions or whatever. then after a long time he is finally able to match with a guide, then multiple times later in the story it is made clear when the mc tries to switch his guide that it will take inevitably a long time. later in the story the ml keeps sexually harassing the mc, leading to the mc firmly telling (yelling) at the ml to stop.
(accidentally clicked post) however this leads to the ml to completely stop giving the mc guiding, KNOWING that the mc needs guiding or will like die or combust or something. therefore manipulating him again to listen to him and force him into situations he doesnt like.
just dont understand why you guys are so insistent on blaming victims. even if victims could have done something about their sexual harassment in the end shouldnt we be focusing on the perpetrator? there are lots of cases irl where victims could have reported their rapists, could have overpowered them or did something to stop but simply werent in the right mental state to or just didnt. but you cant and shouldnt be blaming them for being raped. like i was in an abusive relationship but felt trapped and didnt leave for a long time. that doesnt make me a spineless bitch.

I get it, but I just feel like it was all played off as a joke. Mc jas genuine trauma by the male lead, who isolated him and then goes on to sexually harass him in the present. He has perfect moral and legal grounds to go to HR or anyone and complain so that his case is looked through carefully, and is assigned another guide, even if it's one with less compatibility.
I'll have to revisit that scene when I'm not in public lol. But doesn't he have other alternatives? Like finding another guide who I assume the company would prioritize due to his status as an s class and his position as a victim. Otherwise they'd be looking at a lawsuit, personally.
And if all else fails, there are still other methods like medicine and whatnot. He's been using those methods so far.
I agree with the second part tho. Getting release only to get it taken away is an ass move. And so it's harder to move on from that. When you're in an abusive relationship, you're legally classified as being in a perpetual state of danger. That means your brain isn't thinking straight because it's thinking of it's safety first and foremost. Everything else is secondary to survival. Theoretically almost nothing you do in response would be imputable then. At least in my country. You could literally kill your abuser and it would be self defense.
I myself always freeze up in these situations, and my logic only kicks back once I'm removed from it.
