I think it’s cause she believes he’s a total player who sleeps with different women all the time, it’s hard to take people like that seriously lol like “I bet you say that to everyone” once the misunderstanding is cleared up she’ll know he isn’t just trying to say whatever to get her to sleep with him.
On top of everything else, no human is this ridiculously blind to someone else's feelings. I couldn't tell if someone liked me or not, but this is on a whole new level. HE FULL ON TOLD YOU, WOMAN!
