I'm glad I read the novel first because after reading the manhwa they really left out and changed down things nothing too drastic tho but nonetheless some context were cut

In the novel you don't really feel sorry for junghyuk because imo he was made into like a one dimensional character whose sole purpose is to be a short tempered asshole but the manhwa gave him a little plot and it makes you feel sorry for him which is nice

Also I didn't expect sehyun to have shark teeth at all so I was a bit taken aback but it's fine and the brother's appearance was early but it's a nice surprise they also gave him a little plot that shows he does love and support his little brother instead of the vagueness in the novel

All in all read the novel guys it's gives a lil more content and makes you appreciate the lil changes they made
