basically the light-hair bro is lying about everything and dark-hair bro feels beholden to deal with light-hair bro's shit bc he feels like he caused that scar (he didn't, light-hair bro did it to himself and blamed dark-hair bro), and also dark-hair bro was abused by his fam and so feels like he's a piece of shit. Yes, he made some questionable decisions (like his interactions with the uke of the previous main couple) but it was mostly out of desperation. Light-hair bro keeps trying to make uke believe dark-hair bro isn't serious about him/is cheating on him (and dark-hair bro hasn't been making things more clear bc of his insecurity) or that dark-hair bro is some kind of manwhore, but none of that is true.
