Its being considered an illness and you can surpress it more or less with therapy. Being a attracted to children is not automatically bad. raping yes, but there are other options one could take which are legal, like, u know, manga.

There definitely is one but we haven't found him yet. Guess we'll get to see him after we die? who knows.

This is a little too much about real life, but since you guys are discussing it....Pedophiles have what could be seen as a sickness, and accepting the sickness without trying too change the behaviors would mean hurting others. It would be like accepting alcoholism or drug addiction but not entering a program to stop the bad behaviors. People who are found guilty of sexually abusing children are 40% less likely to get convicted again if they finish a therapy program (compared to those who do not) but there is no cure. It's actually more like being a psychopath or a serial killer than having a disorder that involved addiction, because acting on the urges always hurts others. That's why the need to protect kids outweighs any concern I might have for a pedophile. It's not a question of being "unnatural"--it's about hurting kids.
