I agree, they say that yocchan should give up, but once yocchan ignores him kenji feels the need to tell him shit, which ends up with him giving yocchan hope. kenji doesnt give him the chance to move one

Seriously, tbh sometimes find Yocchan's behavior kinda annoying. Clinging and desperately wants Kenji's attention. Although I know Yocchan really loves him, when Kenji ignored your existence you have to give up and move on. Yocchan just too good to be true for Kenji（￣へ￣）
