what do you think was the meaning of the last page, bacause I'm confused... this story was so realistic and painful but, as usual with yaoi, we expect happy ending? but in this case there was none?

"If the roots keep growing without fruit, let's make a fruit and come to an end."
The roots is their love and the fruit is accepting their love. When people say something bares fruit, it means something comes of it, usually good things. (e.g. If your studying bares fruit that would mean that you got an A or something.)
The main characters continued loving each other, hence the roots that continue growing, but since they never act on that love there is no fruit.
These two are finally acknowledging their love, but it's too late. Besides one man being married, there are many other factors including the stigma behind homosexual relationships in Japan that make this a fruitless love.
Knowing this, the main characters decide to make a fruit and then end it. It's safe to assume "making a fruit" is having sex. Being together for just this one night as if everything was okay. As if the world didn't exist and it was just the two of them. Sure the night would end but that memory will forever be with them, that at least all those roots were able to produce a fruit even if it's just one.

I hope that answered your question ^^
