This is what I'm talking about.... All those isekai MCs should take note. Stop with "I wanna go back home" nonsense and live your life. Save who you wanna save, get rid of who you wanna get rid of..... Just don't try to come back, I mean we all wanna leave. This planet is dying anyway, enjoy your fantasy world and live well. Sheriel has showed them how it's done. Go sheriel!

I don't really agree with that. For people who don't have much attachment to their life on Earth (friends, family, or lover) and/or are outgoing, they'd probably accept and adapt quicker to the world they've been transported to. But for people who have friends and loved ones that they're close to, being put into another world that's most likely foreign to them would be very hard to process and accept. Let alone what type of personality you have, you'd still be sad and possibly depressed if you were unable to see your loved ones ever again; plus, you most likely don't know anyone there and being by yourself in a stressful situation can make it that much harder. I know that if it was me, I'd be sad as all hell knowing that I could never see my family and friends again.
And anyways, for most isekai stories, the protagonist is transported to a different world that doesn't have the technology that we have today. Being depressed AND bored is a horrible combination; you'd have to find other things to do to keep yourself entertained. Now I'm not saying that those worlds don't have anything fun or interesting to do, but they definitely don't have the wide variety of activities that we do today.
Not gonna lie, if that shit happened to me, then I'd better be rich enough to blow my nose and wipe my ass with money to compensate for this situation. I don't want to be stuck in world I don't know as some fucking popper on the street; being broke and not knowing what's going on is out of the question. At least have something like magic or as interesting. ( ̄へ ̄)

I get what you mean, but sometimes you cant change anything. Take your situation the way it is and live it. The richness yes I agree with you, life should be comfortable if you ever end up on the other side (≧∀≦)

Have you read those kind of situation where they don't know where they are or don't know what kind a world they're being sent to? Most of the people who's sent there usually have a shitty life in their OG world too, if you got to a world where you know all the characters there and know how things will play out in the future but still wana go back to the OG world where you are treated like shit that shoul be considered "Stockholm syndrome"

I'll admit her approach is refreshing since there are many stories with similar plots with characters saying the same thing.

However I believe it's complicated many factors are to play.

One important one is your life before transmigration. If you had anyone important to you, pets, family, lover, friends, etc

The kind of world you transported to is important.

The food, climate, culture, language, hobbies, careers, laws, rules, belief system, etc there's a lot to be mindful of in another world

If it's to a novel, movie, show or somewhere you recognize then hopefully it's not a crappy one, and you can recall the important details from the that world and navigate well

Your personality and new role in the foreign world is important as well.

Some places are worse and more barbaric than earth.

If you're a character destined to die immediately and constantly reincarnate that's bs

If you're in a world you're seen as the only food source that's also bs

If you're in a world override by frequent monster attacks but are powerless or have to fight everyday all day that's also bs

    There's many different worlds written.

As humans we're usually capable of being adaptable to a certain degree.

Some of us aren't are good with changes tho. They could cause a mental breakdown.

Depending on our mindset & personality whether extreme changes would make or break us

SWEAR I WANT TO AGREE BUT I CAN'T. What always gets me is the time period, laws and societal culture. I'm black so going to a world that never depicts a black person especially inna good light is just another hell in my opinion. MC is as beautiful as they come yet is still called a barbarian? BLOWS MY MIND. BECAUSE HOW FAR MESSED UP IS YOUR THOUGHT PROCESS TO STILL TRY TO BULLY A BEAUTIFUL LADY? Has my "black struggling" ass confused.

I'd agree completely if the odds were in my favor but they aren't so I rather struggle in a world I'm familiar with then in one I'm not honestly.

Yeah... people honestly don't understand how much technology affects our daily life. Yeah, they had their ways to cope with it amd theres the fantasy in rofan but... the clothing... I'd die getting in and out of those even with help... their discomfort is also not for everyone. What about the loo and hygiene in general? The food? Even going out of the house isn't an easy thing. Even more so for women.
Knowing even a bit about the time period they are based... heck I wouldn't want it even if I was paid. Just thinking about that period of the month without modern hygiene products and medicine... and all the rules and etiquette and manners and all... and having to depend on servants all the time for a lot of things... I'd be uncomfortable tbh...
