This happened I think in the middle of the story. So the same and the uke spend one night together, and same left a message for uke in the morning leaving the pen there. But the pen was a gift from his ex, that actually the uke was the one who picked the gift ( he was helping his friends, same' ex). And the uke was in love for a long time before.
I remember that after seeing the pen the uke started to feel uncomfortable.
